Maritime Training School is a registered training organisation, delivering first class training through dedicated staff and crew.
Located at five venues: Suite 6, d'Albora Marina, Cabarita; St George Motor Boat Club. Sans Souci, Middle Harbour Yacht Club, The Spit Mosman, Lynne Park Ferry Wharf, Rose Bay and The Molonglo River Canberra ACT.
You can enjoy being trained for your general purpose hand or boat licence certificate in these superb waterfront leisure locations. We offer flexible training hours; day, evenings or weekends to fit your lifestyle.
MTS Boating

Enrolling with MTS gives you the opportunity to spend time with seasoned skippers, who love imparting their local knowledge and outstanding boat handling skills. All are marine qualified, assessment certified and have workplace training.
Training School Venues
D'Albora Marina's Cabarita
Conveniently located at d’Albora Marina Cabarita on the Parramatta River, where you can obtain your boat licence training and/or jetski (PWC) training.
Classroom training is held on our 17.3M (57ft)' twin deck flybridge motor cruiser MV Silver Spirit, so you can gain valuable sea time whilst training for a potential new career.
Silver Spirit is licenced to carry up to 40 passengers for boat charters on Sydney Harbour and is ideally suited for commercial maritime training
Access is via Cabarita Park at 138 Cabarita Road, Cabarita. Parking is available in Cabarita Park (coin operated parking metres in use) or free street parking is available outside the park.
St George Motor Boat Club. Sans Souci
Our boat licence and jetski (PWC) training is held in the downstairs function room of the St George Motor Boat Club. 2 Wellington Street, Sans Souci. There is free carparking in the Club and in the surrounding street. Course will commence at 9am and be completed by 3.30. Morning tea will be provided, however, lunch will be at each students own cost and can be provided by the bistro. Prices for the bistro range around $11 to $15.
The practical component of the course will commence after the lunch break and students will board the training vessel from the pontoon directly in front of the function room.
Middle Harbour Yacht Club, The Spit, Mosman
Our boat licence and jetski (PWC) training is held at the Middle Harbour Yacht Club, Lower Parriwi Road, The Spit Mosman, upstairs in the Commodores Room.
Morning tea will be provided and lunch is available for purchase at the Bistro.
Metered parking is available in the Club and across on the western side of Spit Road.
Eastern Suburbs

Maritime Training School also caters for all you potential boaters out there in the Eastern Suburbs, we will pick you up at 8.30am at the Rose Bay ferry wharf or the Watsons Bay wharf at 8.45am and run you over to our waterfront training room at The Spit. We will go through the theory training followed by the 40 question and answer multiple choice quiz followed by the fun part where we will be back out in the boat scooting around the Harbour whilst we undergo the practical requirements of the boat licence training. Oh, and we will remember to drop you back off at your respective wharves when it is all complete usually around 3.30. We ensure it will be a fun day out on the Harbour, all you need to do is enrol and turn up!.
